The first Atelier Cologne store has a surface of 60 square meters and is located in Baneasa Shopping Mall, offering its customers four exclusive perfumery collections.

"The launch of Atelier Cologne is an important step for us. It marks, on the one hand, the entry into a new market for L'Oréal in Romania - the exclusive perfume market, a dynamic market that addresses consumers with an increased appetite for personalized products and services. On the other hand, it marks the expansion of our own retail, one of the growth pillars of the company", said Cosmin Ban, General Manager of L'Oréal Romania's Lux Products Division.

The store comes with a range of services offered to customers, including advice on the right perfume according to lifestyle, travel preferences and the time of day when the perfume will be worn; the concept of "perfume wardrobe", which involves a different perfume for different moments of life; leather engraving services, which allow the personalization of each case that holds the perfume.

Created in 2009 by Sylvie Ganter and Christophe Cervasel, the Atelier Cologne banner was acquired by the L'Oréal Group in 2016. At present, there are 21 Atelier Cologne open worldwide. All Atelier Cologne products are made in France.

The company collaborates with the most famous houses in Grasse, up to 95% of the ingredients being of natural origin.

The producer has a 21-year history on the local market, being one of the most important players on the cosmetics market alongside Avon and Beiersdorf. L'Oréal Romania ended last year with a turnover of 369.5 million lei, up by 17% compared to 2016, respectively, a net profit of 33.9 million lei.
