GSK Consumer Healthcare has a new GM for Central and Eastern Europe | Progresiv
GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) Consumer Healthcare announced the appointment of Romana Jourdren as General Manager for Central and Eastern Europe. Jourdren previously held the position of CEO for Czech Republic and Slovakia.
In her new role, Jourdren will be responsible for managing all GSK Consumer Healthcare operations, corresponding to 30 geographical markets, the most important being Russia, Poland, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania and Hungary.
Sylwia Piankowska, named in January 2017 CEO for GSK Consumer Healthcare Romania and the Balkans, is now reporting to Romana Jourdren and implements Romania's growth strategy in the region.
Jourdren has an extensive experience in marketing, sales and general management in the FMCG sector. Romana Jourdren joined GSK in 2013, previously working in companies like Philips, EgonZehnder, Danone and Kimberly Clark. In the new position, Romana Jourden will work in Warsaw, where the company's headquarters for Central and Eastern Europe are located, and will join GSK Consumer Healthcare's European Leadership Team.
GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) Consumer Healthcare is one of the top three GSK companies. In Romania, the company has a tradition of over 25 years, the investments amounting to over 150 million euros, according to a previous statement. According to the latest reports, in 2015 the company registered a turnover of almost 200 million lei. The local product portfolio includes brands like Theraflu, ParaSinus, Panadol, Voltaren, Sensodyne, Parodontax, Corega and Aquafresh.
