Ferrero to buy third-largest US non-chocolate confectionary company | Progresiv
The Ferrero Group has announced a deal to acquire Ferrara Candy, the third-largest US non-chocolate confectionary company. No financial details of the deal were disclosed. 
Ferrara owns brands such as Trolli, Brachs, and Black Forest Organics. The deal includes Ferrara’s four manufacturing and distribution plants, two distribution centres, and an engineering and R&D centre. The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2017.
