E.Leclerc targets 100-200 pedestrian drives in three years | Progresiv
At the opening of its second ‘E.Leclerc Relais’ pedestrian drive in Paris on 20 March, Leclerc signalled its intention to rapidly expand the format across France. The group is targeting between 100-200 locations within three years.
The pickup point recently opened specialises mostly in grocery, but notably some non-food products can also be collected, especially items from the group’s specialist banners, in categories like eyecare, tech, wine and books.
No collection fees apply, but home delivery is available from the location with electric scooters making deliveries. The offer encompasses 13,500 SKUs, which will rise to 15,000 by the summer. The company is focused on Paris as part of its expansion plan, with 3-4 Relais planned for every arrondissement of the capital. (www.kantarretailiq.com)
