Coca-Cola volumes rose by 3% in Q1 | Progresiv
Coca-Cola soft drinks producer increased its volume sales by 3% in the first quarter of this year, with each region and product portfolio rising, according to the company's financial report.
Coca-Cola's brands have largely supported sales volume growth, with Cola Light and Cola Zero being its largest contributors. The two brands have gone through an ample rebranding process, benefiting from new packaging and flavors, according to Retaildetail.eu.
Group turnover declined by 16%, to 6.2 billion euros, above analysts' forecast. The main reason for this contraction is related to the reorganization of bottling activities.
However, the US producer managed to increase its net profit to almost 1.4 billion euros for the analyzed period. At this year's level, Coca-Cola estimates a 4% growth in business.
