Coca-Cola HBC Romania, 7 million euros investment in its Timisoara factory | Progresiv
Coca-Cola HBC Romania, the largest company on the local beverage market, has inaugurated a high-speed dose bottling production line at its Timisoara factory, with a maximum production capacity of 90,000 doses / hour, the value of the investment rising to 7 million euros. Also, next year, the company will continue to invest nationwide, with a budget of 13 million euros, according to Jaak Mikkel, General Manager of Coca-Cola HBC Romania. 
The new dose bottling line implemented by Coca-Cola HBC Romania in the Timisoara factory is now the fastest on the local market - the daily capacity being of 2 million doses and has a high degree of state-of-the-art automation. Also, within the Timisoara factory, it is the most energy efficient line (410 kW / h) and the line with the lowest water consumption per liter of beverage produced (1.1L). The project started in November 2016, and the testing period was completed in late May 2017.
The Coca-Cola HBC factory in Timisoara was inaugurated on August 12, 1995. At that time, there were three production lines, all of which were later replaced by new and modern equipment. In the Timisoara factory, Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprite, Schweppes, Nestea and Joy products are currently bottled. These products serve both the Romanian market (except Joy) and other markets where the manufacturer exports.
Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company is one of the world's largest Coca-Cola bottlers with operations in 28 countries and a volume of more than 2 billion crates per year.
In Romania, Coca-Cola HBC reported sales of 167 million crates, up by 9% over the previous year. According to the financial results reported by the company to the Ministry of Finance, Coca-Cola HBC reported in 2016 a turnover of 2.22 billion lei in 2016, up by 5% over the previous year.
